Dear WCFR Supporters,
On behalf of our Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for joining us as we commemorate “Six Years of Teaching People and Saving Lives”.
On September 30th, 2016, we were thrilled to honor Fidelis Care; Sciencia Roseau Torchon, Dr. Mario Nelson, WomenHeart and Rockland Bakery as our Lifesaving Partners. These individuals, organizations, and businesses have helped us meet our mission “to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training”, by becoming members, volunteers, donors, and/or sponsors. We whole heartedly take this opportunity to also recognize and honor everyone who have supported us. Your support is even more valuable now than ever, in light of the recent natural disasters like Irma. Today, like no other day, our mission is more important than ever.
Over the past 6 years, we have educated and trained over 250,000 community members how to save lives with your help. Although our focus has been the United States and Haiti, we have made presentations in China and South Africa. This year, we were proud to be chosen to present our project titled “Partnerships Among Nonprofit Organizations: Assessing the Impact on Global Health” at the Sigma Theta Tau International’s 28th International Nursing Research Congress in Dublin, Ireland. We are recognized internationally for the lifesaving training and educational opportunities we provide to communities locally and abroad.
Our goal is to educate and train a total of 300,000 community members in 2018. The funds that we raise will help us meet that goal. We have an excellent chance of meeting our fundraising goal because of you. In fact, we might just break our record. Your presence here and generosity will help save lives. For that, we thank you and celebrate all of you.
Thank you for helping WCFR save lives!
