DR. JACQUELINE CASSAGNOL

PhD, MSN, RN, PMC - Founder & President

award-winning nurse scientist, accomplished nursing administrator, and professor. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing at Pace University, received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing Administration, and Post-Master Certificate Degree in Nursing Education from Mercy College. As a result of Dr. Cassagnol’s experience in preparing for and assisting with Victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, she founded WCFR, a nonprofit organization, to provide health education, first aid, and disaster-preparedness training. She has presented locally, nationally, and internationally at nursing conferences about WCFR and its collaboration with other non-profit organizations to improve global health outcomes. In addition, she has presented at International Research Congress Conferences in China, South Africa, and Ireland regarding health education and disaster preparedness projects that she initiated through WCFR in the United States and Haiti. She recently successfully defended her PhD dissertation titled “Haitian Nurses’ Perceptions about Disaster Preparedness and Disaster Nursing”, which was funded by two grants.

DR. HANS CASSAGNOL

background is in patient care delivery, performance improvement, and population health. Since his early training in medical school, he has gravitated towards providing care to the underprivileged populations. He has been privileged to have been given the opportunity to serve in the inner-city populations in CT & NY, and overseas in Africa & Haiti during his training. Throughout his practice (both medically and administratively), he has made a concerted effort to Improve care in underprivileged populations many (Pregnant Patients, Low socioeconomic status, and Mental Health Disorders). His focus has led to improvements in length of stay, patient satisfaction, morbidity, and mortality in the populations that our systems provided care for.

with over 10 years of dedicated experience in nursing education, she has continually strived to adapt and innovate in teaching approaches to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare sector and our diverse nursing student body. Throughout years working with City University of New York, she led numerous initiatives aimed at curriculum development, incorporating approaches, and interdisciplinary integrating cutting-edge technology into their educational framework. These projects have not only improved her educational offerings but also significantly enhanced stuldenti engagement and learning outcomes.

JEFF HUDSON

MA, BA, - Treasurer

over 20 years of research and teaching experience His research experience includes investigations on the role of serotonin in psychopathology, research investigating investigatings the role and of nitric oxide studies investigating neurocognitive function through EEG and ERP. He is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Mercy University and an adjunct professor at Empire State University.

medical doctor and holds a master’s in Global Health Delivery from Harvard University. Passionate fighter against health disparities and inequality who worked in the US and internationally in the field of health care program design and implementation. Dr Suffrin implemented a rural-based model of HIV & TB care program ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care to the poorest and marginalized populations. Dr Suffrin as an accomplished researcher authored several ac‹ademic publications in the field of HIV/AIDS and Health Care Program Implementation. Dr Suffrin is currently the global health technical consultant at WCFR.
